LifeSpring Christian Fellowship (LifeSpring) has been meeting since May 2003 in the Kitchener/Waterloo area.  LifeSpring is associated with Vision Ministries Canada and was a joint church plant between Lincoln Road Chapel (Waterloo) and Woodside Bible Fellowship (Elmira).

Here at LifeSpring, we believe that spiritual growth happens best in the context of relationships with other people.  For that reason we are and desire to continue to be, a “Simple Church,” focusing on three things: LifeGroups, Celebration and Community. 

LifeGroups
(our founding principle was and continues to be “walking life together”)
The purpose of the LifeGroup is prayer, Bible study, fellowship and building each other up.  The LifeGroup is the heart of the church!  Each person uses their gifts and talents for the strengthening of the group.  Each week, in homes around the city, people from all ages and walks of life get together to encourage and help each other grow in their understanding of the Bible and what it means in their lives.  Families of all ages worship and learn together!  Our goal is that each and every person would be encouraged and equipped for the mission of bringing Jesus to people in our communities.

Celebration
(Sunday morning worship experience)
Our Sunday Celebration service is a time when all the LifeGroups gather and corporately worship God together!  All Celebrations at LifeSpring are comprised of the three primary elements: a worship time, celebrating communion together and a culturally relevant, biblically true message. Worship time will include a live band or video worship.  The style is blended music from today and past classics.

Community
(outreach events and integration of new people)
LifeGroups also serve in our community through different events throughout the year.  This is an important aspect of who we are as a group of followers of Jesus. We believe in the importance of volunteering in our community to bring the love and light of Jesus with us.  We serve our community in three different ways: full congregation events, LifeGroup events, and individual ministries.

We have aligned ourselves with Craig Groeschel and LifeChurch.tv as a Network Church, and are excited about pursuing this creative and innovative way to do church.

LifeChurch.tv Network
LifeSpring, as a Network Church, is connected with LifeChurch.tv through a recurring weekend experience that features video teaching messages from Pastor Craig Groeschel. Network Churches maintain 100% autonomy in all areas of ministry, including leadership, vision, decision-making, and governance. LifeSpring also uses the LifeKIDS.tv Sunday School and the LifeGroup Talk-it-Over materials provided by LifeChurch.tv. 

Leadership
LifeSpring is an Elder led church.  The role of the elders is to ensure that the purity and integrity of the ministry is kept in our LifeGroups and Celebration.  They also serve as the Directors of LifeSpring for our non-profit organization status with the government of Canada.

The Campus Pastor’s responsibility is to cast the vision of the church and to equip ministry teams to perform the ministry of LifeSpring.  The Campus Pastor encourages, coaches and mentors the leaders of the LifeGroups and the Ministry Teams.  The spiritual health of each of the LifeGroups is KEY for each and everyone to live up to their full potential in Christ!  The Elders and Campus Pastor's role is to provide a spiritual covering to each of the LifeGroups for their well being and continued spiritual growth.
